MTC SDE Intern

Microsoft

Mar 2018 – Aug 2018 Beijing - China

My internship experience in MTC made me get in touch with many latest Microsoft technologies. My main task is to cooperate with my team to build demos for our customers to show them how Microsoft solutions can optimize their operations and help them take on their most difficult challenges.

During the internship, I participated in the CCTV Smart Video System, and helped to build a demo for video action detection using Pytorch + FRNN network. I also worked on some tiny projects with other interns to build testing environment for MTC Demo products.

I land a six-month internship at Microsoft. My main task is to apply the basic knowledge of computer clients and troubleshoot network problems(Wired/Wireless) for Microsoft employees. I have grasped the basic knowledge of cisco routers and switches, and I am able to build up a simple network environment.

During the internship, I need to be extremely accurate in the information and solutions provided to the internal colleagues; And maintain a high level of professionalism and quality when interacting with internal colleagues.

Responsibilities include:

  • Wireless Network signal coverage test and security check
  • VPN profile test
